Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using metacoached.com and its founding-school interest form (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. What the Site is

The Site provides information about MetaCoach Crafted, an AI-assisted instructional coaching approach for educators, and lets interested schools and leaders express interest in early (“founding school”) access. The Site also links to a free coaching GPT hosted by a third party. MetaCoach Crafted is in an early-access stage, and features described on the Site may still be in development. The Site and the coaching approach are professional development and practice resources and do not constitute formal teacher evaluation, employment decision-making, or certification.

3. Eligibility

The Site is intended for educators, instructional coaches, school and system leaders, and other adults (18 or older). It is not directed to K-12 students, and no K-12 student personal information should be submitted through the Site.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Site for any unlawful purpose; (b) submit personally identifiable student information; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Site; or (d) misrepresent your affiliation with any institution.

5. Founding-school interest

Submitting the interest form is an expression of interest only. It is not a purchase, a contract, or a guarantee of access, availability, features, or any particular pricing. Any future access or pricing will be set out in a separate agreement.

6. Third-party services

The Site links to a free coaching GPT hosted by OpenAI within ChatGPT, and uses third-party services (such as Google) for its form and analytics. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, which we do not control.

7. Intellectual property

The Site, including its content, design, branding, and the underlying coaching approach and materials, is the property of MetaCoach Crafted and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable right to view the Site for your own professional purposes.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT USE OF THE SITE OR THE COACHING APPROACH WILL RESULT IN IMPROVED TEACHER EVALUATION SCORES, EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES, OR CERTIFICATION SUCCESS.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MetaCoach Crafted SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

10. Non-affiliation

MetaCoach Crafted is an independently owned platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any state agency.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (This will be updated if and when MetaCoach Crafted is incorporated in another state.)

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
